The fortune teller forspoke to me
The slipping of the stitches in the seams of my skin
Where the godless man would come for my bones
To bake the bread that will feed the lust
Dwelling inside him. I shall see
No benevolent changes of fate
But in my mercy, she gave me a parting gift.
I lean into the void to hear her whisper, instead
She give me a kiss
It was four years before
The threads holding me together
Began to loosen and I anesthetized
With lies of oblivion
When he replaced my bleeding heart
With porcelain
Drained me, took me apart.
Now you recreate me in your ideal image
Of societal perfection
Rinsed clean, the residue dust and infection
From the hollow of my molded core
I want to be put back together again
With vacant eyes of painted glass
I'm freed from the endless decomposition I face
In destiny's hands.
Rid of this immaterial consciousness this
No longer hurts when I'm empty.
Play with me
I'm just doll parts in the hands of vanity.
Break me
And I'll just be recasted again
I'm just doll parts
And an empty head.
